Day 1 ~Six Items or Less
Written by Robert // August 2, 2010 // LifeStyle, LifeStyle Frontpage, SIX Items or Less, Style SAVVY // 4 Comments
Today is DAY 1, I have chosen six (and only six) items of clothing and pledge to wear only these six items of clothing for 30 days.
- Lavender Polo (from Target)
- Camo Cargo Shorts (from Target)
- Grey Tri-Blend V-neck Tee (from Urban Outfitters)
- Denim Jean (by Buffalo Denim #73)
- White Cotton Button-down (from Target)
- Light Blue Cotton Button-down (from Target)
There are exceptions that don’t count towards the six: undergarments, swim wear, work-out clothes, work uniforms, outer jackets (rain slicker, outdoor jacket), shoes and accessories… THANK GOODNESS!!!
WHY? To raise awareness, donations and good will for Fresh Start Women’s Foundation.
The reason I do what I do, as a Wardrobe & Personal Stylist, is to cultivate that hidden confidence by creating persona’s through style. So I want to commit to the 30 day challenge, by bringing awareness to the Fresh Start Women’s Foundation by blogging about my daily appreciation and experience with only six items, which in many cases is more than these women have when they walk away from there old lives to start their new ones.
Follow my journey, starting today, through the 31st of August 2010 as I photo blog & share my thoughts (the photo’s keep me accountable!) Visit daily and show your support by clicking the DONATE BUTTON. I and the Fresh Start Women’s Foundation community appreciate your support deeply.

Go ROBERT!! What a great way to raise awareness for one of my FAVORITE Phoenix nonprofit organizations. Can’t wait to see you get creative with the outfits as the progress:-) How creative!!
Very hip look! I like it. I adore camoflauge mixed w/ unexpected colors & textures.
Everybody is giving me a hard time about the camo shorts.Thank you for sharing my vision.
With gratitude,
