During Susan G. Komen for the Cure’s annual New York City race. One might expect to see pink t-shirts, shoes, jackets and more. But pink eyeglasses? Now that’s another brilliant “eye-dea” by Warby Parker.

Thanks to Warby Parker and their energetic “Warby Parker Wears Pink” team, Central Park’s stream of philanthropists donned an atypical accessory this year, one that is not only fashionable but stylishly charitable as well. Thirty-three team members wore the company’s limited edition hand dip-dyed Japhy frames in a unique rose shade designed exclusively for the occasion, an act officially launching the company’s latest humanitarian endeavor that honors Breast Cancer Awareness month. For every pair of frames sold, $50 is donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure’s research and education efforts. And, as always, for every pair you buy, a pair is given to someone in need.

About Susan G. Komen For the Cure $1.5 billion invested to date. For more information about Susan G. Komen for the Cure, breast health or breast cancer, visit www.komen.org or call 1-877-GOKOMEN.
