The first step to developing a personal style is learning how to dress right for your body type. Contrary to the myths projected by the lean, tall figures donning the pages of Vogue, W, Elle and Marie Claire, you don’t have to be runway ready to look stunning.
Each body type, has a different characteristics — whether your more curvaceous, or tall and lean, the exciting thing about knowing your body type is that it will serve as a guide for creating balanced and flattering wardrobe choices. With a few key points that are easy to remember, you’ll be able to assure a winning look ever time and on any budget!

Pear-Shaped Figure- wardrobe choices should create the appearance of wider shoulders and bigger bust to look proportionate to your lower half. You want to draw attention up to your face and your bright confident smile.
Hourglass-Shaped Figure- Wardrobe choices should draw attention to your waist and accentuate those feminine curves without adding volume to your hips or shoulders.
Rectangle-Shaped Figure- You need to create the appearance of a curvier waist and bottom to enhance your femininity and draw focus to your enviable legs and thighs.
Apple-Shaped Figure- Wardrobe selections that lengthen or elongate your torso are key. We want to give the appearance of slimmer shoulders and waist. We need to draw attention away from the midsection, and draw attention to your best attributes, making a more confident you.
